Sh. Punam Suri, the President of DAVCMC

Sh. Punam Suri, the President of DAVCMC is a visionary leader devoted to the pursuit of excellence. The illustrious grandson of Mahatma Anand Swami Ji (Mahashaya Khushal Chand), Sh. Punam Suri ji is a staunch Arya Samajist. He is also a well-known media personality who was till recently the managing editor of the Daily Milap. He has now dedicated his life to nurturing the enlightened system of education, founded in 1885. With great foresight, keen intellect and impressive administrative acumen, Sh. Punam Suri ji is taking the DAV institution to great heights. A widely travelled person, he is acquainted with the latest information technology and pedagogy and has promoted technology and innovation in DAV institutions with great passion. Striking a fine balance between Vedic wisdom and modernity, Sh. Punam Suri ji envisions DAV to be the finest educational organization in the world that would, through its mission of providing man-making, character building education, gift holistic and enlightened citizens to the world.

Sh. Ajay Suri, Chairman of the School

Born in a reputed Arya Samajist family, he did his graduation from Hansraj College, Delhi University and subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He is the working President of Arya Samaj Anarkali, Mandir Marg and former member of Finance & Provident Fund Committee in Delhi University, a member in the Advisory Committee of Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital and also a member of Sales Tax Advisory Committee, Govt. of NCT Delhi. A keen philanthropist, Sh Ajay Suri is actively involved in social and welfare activities.

 

 

Dr. Nisha Peshin, Director (P.S II) and Director (Academics)

Director Public Schools, DAVCMC, Dr. Nisha Peshin, is a dynamic person. She has played a path-breaking role as Curriculum Development Officer in DAVCMC and has been instrumental in designing and developing text books and educational material from class nursery till class VIII for all DAV schools since uniformly introduced in over 550 DAV Public Schools in India.

Her endeavors in conceptualizing and designing Early Education Development Program, School Improvement Programs and Training Programs for DAV school teachers are laudable. Her zeal to always innovate as Director, Public Schools has inspired others to constantly improve and adapt with changing times. She is also a great believer of sharing best practices and encourages all schools to do the same. Dr. Nisha Peshin is truly a beacon of light inspiring all to think anew and move ahead.

S.M. Gupta, Hony. Treasurer, DAVCMC, Vice-Chairman of the school

S.M. Gupta, Hony. Treasurer, DAVCMC is the Vice Chairman of the school. Under his mentorship, the school has been progressing leaps and bounds. We look forward to his support and guidance in the years to come.

 

Mrs. Sneh Verma, Manager of the school

Mrs. Sneh Verma the founder Principal of DAV Public School, Pushpanjali Enclave is the Manager of the school. She is the backbone and blood inducing support system who has always encouraged and propelled us on the road to success. Due to her untiring effort, embracing the riches of vedic culture and ultra modern sciences, enhancing expertise, she enriches lives. She inculcates a strong sense of social responsibility. She injects enthusiasm, thus we evolve in all areas and spheres, paving a new path, rewriting history and remaining committed to our main cause of educational excellence.

 

Mrs. Adarsh Kohli, the founder Principal of DLDAV Model School

Mrs. Adarsh Kohli, the founder Principal of DLDAV Model School, played a great role in bringing up this institution. From a humble beginning in 1981 to its present impressive campus, the school owes its growth and success to her. The National Award (1999) and State Award (1995) received from the Government of India are testimony to the heights achieved by Mrs. Adarsh Kohli in her inspirational journey. She was awarded a Gold Medal by DAV College Managing Committee in year 2012 for her exemplary contribution in the field of education. While the personal awards that she received were important milestones in her professional career, it was the steady progress and the huge amount of accolades won by the school and children that really made her triumphant. Her incessant zeal for Quality and Continual Improvement led the school to receive the Commendation certificate from IMC Rama krishna Bajaj National Quality Award, Mumbai. Under her dynamic leadership, the school won handsome accolades from the knowledge society. It was among the first few in Delhi NCR to be granted accreditation by CBSE. The school was also awarded the International School Award from the British Council.

Her vision of nurturing holistic individuals who are intellectually vibrant, socially committed and spiritually enlightened was praiseworthy. Her philanthropic endeavors empowered many a needy life.
